HD Radio: Story from former CT reporter

Geat reporting there... NOT...
He keeps calling HD Radio "High Definition" radio. the HD in the name has NOTHING to do with "High Definition" instead the HD in HD radio means "Hybrid Digital".
HD Radio while fine on FM if you are close enough to pick up the low power HD signal is killing the AM band. Has anyone listened to WTIC AM lately, it sounds like crap now. (Make that "High Definition" crap.)
