HD Radio updates only

Also, anybody else still having issues with KHMX HD, all these months later? Still having the same issue from earlier in the year.. I see artist and song info on the HD, but the digital signal never fully locks. HD logo just continually flashes.

I noticed KQBT off last night too.

KHMX and KLTN are still like that for me

A bit off topic, what's your take on the drama surrounding the Section 8 development next to the KLTN tower? (Link to story)

I know there were federal funds involved and it's been rumored that someone confused meters for feet when submitting the proposal (HHA said the KLTN tower was only 305 feet tall 🤣). Lying for federal money is a big no-no. One of the rumors I heard was that the city was thinking of making an offer for the tower in order to meet federal requirements. But of course, the tower is the least of their problems now that people have found out about the toxic waste surrounding the land.

I wouldn't be surprised to see the housing project abandoned and moved elsewhere. There

Out of curiosity, I checked FCCdata.org - KLTN overall antenna height above ground is listed at 305m (as in meters).

The housing project is not going to move. They already got paid. We are not moving, COH is going to have to get with FCC about moving us, and that will cause a domino effect other markets 102.9s. No way they will do that.
I see them continue to work on the housing project, the parking lot is next to north guy wire anchor. There is guy wire anchors near old homes next to the fence. there is even a anchor inside a warehouse on N Velasco St . No one is moving or stopping. The site is a superfund due to the waste from the Lead Products company. I beleive they lifted that no dig and after samples from the wells around the tower site and other areas, they found it to be safe now. who knows, i grew up on East End 2nd Ward, this is normal, money talks, bs walks.

HD1 doesn’t lock like KHMX. I can get the HD2 & HD3 just fine though.

SPARC portable, Sangean HDR-14 & HDR-18. KHMX acts like that too. I’ve also experienced the same thing with KORA & KLQB HDs where the subchannels lock but HD1 just flashes and plays the analog.
 
Audacy HDs has been having some weird issues today. But KHMX HD2 is back but silent. Rock PTY
 
KPFT has added an HD3. Seems to currently be Country music from the 50's-90's with some quick KPFT branding between some songs. The main HD 1 is currently silent. I'm sure it'll be fixed by the time someone reads this.

KPFT HD2 was broadcasting news in Spanish. Talking heavily on the Venezuela’s crisis. Is this a full Spanish sub channel or just a spot in the morning?

It’s like the main HD1. Can be very different programming every hour or 2. The only thing that’s consistent seems to be the Country HD3
 
I’ve noticed for the past week or so KHVU HD will constantly cut off for about 15-30 seconds every minute or so.
 
A lot of the time on my HD Radio out in Lavaca coutny KHMX will lock then go out and be silent. I almost need to force analog just to listen to KHMX.
