HD Radio updates only

KRBE HD is back. Audio is about 10 seconds delayed from the analog. Showing song info and album art. HD name is now just “KRBE” as opposed to the previous “KRBE-FM”.

As of checking around noon, 93.7 HD1 and HD2 are showing incorrect/severely delayed song info, as well as no album art - only the station logo is displayed. Also, the HD signal seems weaker than before in fringe areas - more dropouts than usual.

The HD-2 of KBXX (KFNC simulcast) has disappeared this morning (6/18) though the HD-1 is still on, and all the other Radio One HD subchannels continue with normal programming. The 97.9 HD-2 had been on at a check a couple of days ago with KFNC.

KFNC itself was buried under KWTX at my NW Harris County location this morning, so unable to quickly discern whether they have dropped frequent references to 97.9 HD-2. Their website currently has nothing about the HD-2. Has that arrangement come to an end?

Possibly getting ready for a new client?
