HD Radio updates

Wow they've blown up the Point 1069 HD-2. Anyone listened lately? It really is the best of the 80's AND MORE including rap.

This morning they played some hip hop I think from the 2000's in my sleep sounded like something 'I say yeah yeah"... I dunno and then went to Bette Midler.

Is KGLK the same sub channels? I can sometimes get them at Lavaca county but KLUB almost always overrides KHPT.

KLOL HD2 was off this morning.
It had been silent since last night not off. But it’s back now. KTHT HD and RDS are off yet again. KXBJ 96.9 is blasting in with RDS in Conroe again.

I’ve been listening to a good bit of this station lately. Haven’t heard any rap but I did hear Blinding Lights by The Weeknd once which threw me off. I’m really enjoying the current mix of music. Some good 80s songs that are never played on any other station in the greater Houston area.

Is KGLK the same sub channels?
No. KHPT HD2 is The Point. HD3 is La Nueva Dallas 101.7. KGLK HD2 is oldies. HD3 is 98.7 Masala Radio. Masala used to be on HD4 with HD3 being Hum Radio.

KHVU now has an HD long name of “HD-Radio” and now has an artist and title field but doesn’t actually show what song is on.

KHVU now just says Vida Unida but looks like they are just covering up another name. You can see 2 little lines behind the Vida name.

It’s… interesting. Wang Chung into Faith Hill “Breathe”.

Another HD observation - The Wave 96.5 HD3 does not seem to be joining the Christmas party this year.

The 2 lines is the artist field and Vida Unida is the song field. You don’t see anything to the right of your HD radio logo? Their HD call sign is still “HD-Radio”. It’ll show up as “HD-R” on radios that don’t support long names.
Why doesn't KUHF, KBXX just have www.hdradio.com in the title, and KILT has no title in the HD title.
Your radio is showing the rarely used message field. KROI and KQQK also show the www.HD-Radio.com message.

I’ve been checking often to see when they’re going to switch. Weird they decided not to.

KQQK is just showing EL NORTE 108.9
KUHF is showing HOUSTON PUBLIC MEDIA-KUHF FM and. HD1
KILT says 100.3 The Bull you’re waking up with the morning Bullp

Yes BULLP the P is not a typo on my side. That’s exactly what’s showing.

And KHVU still showing the 2 little lines on top of VIDA UNIDA

I would like to point out a few more Translators originating programming. K283CH-FM La Grande 104.5 , 99.5 fm Radio Dabang, and 94.1 fm K231CN.
