Search for reviews on Web at sites that are not connected with iBiquity or the HD Radio Consortium. Any reviews at sites related to iBiquity or the Consortium are suspect; they are trying to get you to buy. The independent reviews I've read suggest that ALL of the radios are overpriced and few to none provide adequate performance. That is especially the case with reception of the FM HD subchannels (there are no HD subchannels on AM). On the subchannels, the reception radius is extremely limited. Unlike the main channel, which flips to analog on a dropout, the subchannels flip to silence. The problem is worse in cars than in stationary radios, because you can fiddle with the location and orientation of a stationary radio but you have little control over the location of your car. Even so, the subchannel performance is not very satisfactory, period. Caveat emptor!
