Just noticed that HD has returned to WWYZ 92.5 with no HD subchannels. WUCS 97.9 is now in HD also with no HD subchannels. The analog sounds much better than the HD on WUCS. Their HD sounds tinny to me. Still unable to lock in the HD on WHCN 105.9.

HD returns to WWYZ and HD now on WUCS

I know WTIC-FM had it's HD-2 & 3 out for a while but came back, I guess it's time to do a bandscan in this very poor area for HD and see what I get...
WNPR 1 (Normal)
WWYZ 1 (Missing HD2)
WZMX 1 & 2 (Normal)
WKSS 1 (Still no HD2 or new format on it, which was my first guess as to why it went out)
WTIC-FM 1, 2, & 3 (Normal)
WUCS (Flashes, but will not lock, I'm assuming my area at fault not the station)
WPLR 1 (Normal)
WRCH 1 & 2 (Normal)
WKCI 1, 2 & 3 (Normal)
WDRC-FM 1, 2 & 3 (Normal)
WMRQ 1 & 2 (Normal, assuming they aren't bring HD-3 back)
WHCN (Definitly strong enough to lock, but doesn't)
This scan was done with both a Sangean HDT-1 and the Insignia portable and had nearly the same results from about 1 mile north of the WIHS studios in Middletown.

I think he's maybe referring to a post I made a couple of years ago in an HD reception report that was some time after WCCC dropped HD, I knew that they had but still included them as "Not back in HD yet or something just as silly in a very subtle (and failed) attempt to poke fun at them for being one of the first to drop out of HD in this market. Maybe I should have made it more obvious without being offensive? More like, Please come back!!! or something like that.
