HD vs Analog radio??

I have yet to hear HD FM. Has any poster / reader compared the difference? Any comments would be greatly appreciated...

HD FM is no better - and perhaps not as good - as a decently processed analog FM signal. HD is significantly better than typical AM.

Technically, an HD FM station could offer multiple programming streams, but each stream will degrade the main signal even more. The switch to HD also seems to degrade fringe area reception, reducing the audience outside the city-grade signal.
