I'm curious how many markets outside the larger ones have stations that are broadcasting in HD a d have HD2 and HD3 available.
In the Beaumont area, we have KVLU that has both HD2/3 in use with unique programming on each channel.
For the commercial stations, only Clear Channel is offering HD2, on both KCOL and KKMY. KCOL seems to be running another classic hits feed for their HD2, which seems redundant. I'm not sure why they wouldn't offer something different (AAA for example) that would be unique to the market to get HD radio some notice. KKMY has comedy on its HD2 channel, which is also broadcast on the 103.3 translator.
