OK to give you a real answer......HD2 is a digital signal, that actually carries a seperate program by using HD Radio (IBOC). There is also HD3 available thought very limited. More info can be had at www.hdradio.comHD1 carris the same proram as the analog signal, while HD2 and HD3 can be totally different programs on the same frequency.
