He WON'T Be Back After This Short Break...

A talk show host for Jefferson City news/talker KLIK/1240 has been arrested and charged with murdering his wife, when they lived in Massachusetts:

According to another story on this, Keown was arrested during a commercial break this morning on his "Party Line" show. He apparently also contributed news reports and materials to KLIK, and sister station KFRU/1400 in Columbia.

As a former employee of that cluster and occasional former contributor at KLIK and KFRU, I'm rather shocked by this. Although I left before Keown's arrival, I met him shortly after he started working there when Brad Savage had his going away party. He seemed like a nice guy, and it's hard for me to believe what happened this morning. I extend my sympathies to my former co-workers as well as those who started at Cumulus after my departure.

Not surprisingly, the blogger "comment' function has been turned off.
But you can still read about his love Julie. No, not the wife he
allegedly murdered by poisoning, but another woman with the same
first name.

Papers do it again: "A DJ"

>>DJ charged with murder

OK, I know you only have so much space in the headline, newspaper people,
but how many times do we have to tell you: A talk show host is NOT a DJ!
They don't spin records/CDs!
