Heads roll at Curtis Media in Winston

WSJS PM News Anchor Scott Griffin and Assistant Engineer/Saturday Computer Show Host Drey Blevins both shown the door last week. Is WSJS abandoning truly local news? Is Griffin the first of many cuts in that department? With the NC News Network in pocket, I'd think it would be very easy and much cheaper to do WSJS's newscasts from Raleigh. And now there's just one engineering employee for 5 signals in Winston-Salem, High Point, and Burlington.

Curtis Media has NO problem shelling out the money for more and more property. It's a shame that property is really owned by all the people that lose their jobs to enable CMG to buy.
