Heard 3 stations on 94.5

I just returned home in the car to Sanford, Maine and I was able to hear 94.5 WRJO for about 5 minutes. I also heard another station on 94.5 playing Boulevard of Broken Dreams by Green Day, Mr. Jones by Counting Crows and You Can't Go Home by Bon Jovi. The other station was Jam'n of Boston. Usually when I travel to Acton I only can receive Jam'n but I guess I was lucky tonight.

Can someone tell me how far over the air it is from Eagle River, Wisconsin to Acton, Maine? I was so happy to hear WRJO since it's the furthest I've ever gotten an FM station. I always have an easier time receiving AM stations though.

Previously before tonight the furthest station I had received was any Providence area stations or 106 COD.

I heard 3 yesterday on 102.9 from near Worcester MA- WDRC -Hartford 60 mi and WBLM-Portland ME 120 mi both est and a station playing Carribean music.

That other 94.5 you're thinking of (the one with the Green Day and the Bon Jovi) might be WPST in Trenton, NJ.

Trenton is too close to Maine for e-skip so it most likely wasn't PST. I live in NJ and didn't get any Maine stations. There was an e-skip opening yesterday. Search for Green Day on yes.com and look for stations on 94.5 that played it around that time.

I'm sure you must enjoy the thrill of e-skip DXing. Just 2 days ago I had the thrill of my voice being DXed 1000 miles away when I was on the air on a 100 watt FM station. That must have been a strong opening for my 100 watt station to be heard that far away. Of course, I said the call letters and gave out the phone number every 2 minutes (even in the middle of a song) in hopes of a DXer logging it since I knew there was e-skip that night (and our local listeners wouldn't be able to hear us because of the e-skip interference).
