Heard former B101's Tom St John on Cool 101 in CT

Visiting SE Connecticut over the weekend, I caught TSJ on New London's Cool 101. Sounded like he never missed a beat from B101 years ago. Anyone know how long he's been on there? Might I add - wow, an oldies station that still treats the 60s as a 10 year decade of music. Nice variety of stations to listen to with Long Island, CT and some RI stations to choose from.

I think it was last spring when I first heard he was weekending there, so it could have been around then. TSJ is sorely missed in Providence & I've often wondered how a station that close to this market can play 60's & 70's including the "oh wow" songs and be successful. I'm sure someone would reply with a business model that I wouldn't agree with. Then again, it's Hall and they don't do homogenized by-the-numbers radio.

Nice guy! Sorry not hear him in Providence.BTW, not picking on you but it's KOOL-101 with a "K".WCIB COOL 102 with a "C". I made the same mistake a few years ago.
In Providence it's The "COOL" TV on WPRI 12.2 and on 59.2 in New London CT.. As I'm typing this I did'nt realize how many Cool's or KOOL this area is.

The "Cool"/"Kool" branding was worse in Florida/S.E. Ga. tho about 10-15 years ago where every oldies station was using it: WKQL: Jacksonville "Cool 96.9", WOCL: Deland/Orlando "Cool 105.9", WQOL (I think was using it): Port St. Lucie "Cool 103.7", WGCO: Hilton Head Island/Savannah "Cool 98.3", etc.. I forget which ones used the C & which ones used a K.
