Heard somthing fishy this morning on Karlson and Mckenzie

I Briefly tuned into K and M right before O and A came on this morning and heard them say that they had said they were going to broadcast live from the Cask N Flaggon but that "The city of Boston wouldn't allow them too". Now, I know that Toucher and Rich who I would think has a "wilder" audience than K and M have broadcast from there before, and I am not sure what legal ground the city of Boston has to stop a radio station from doing a live broadcast from private property. I thought that this sounded fishy and it sounded to me like they were just trying to spin a goof up. ???

During Opie and Anthony they had a promo with "Adam 12" where he said that HE was going to be broadcasting from the Cask N Flaggon today... hmmmmm. What are the chances that mumbles would tell the Classic Rock station that they couldnt broadcast live from there but tell the Alternative Rock station (owned by the same company) that they could??? To me it sounds like WZLX, and K and M just got bumped so that CBS could have Adam and WBCN there today, and they are trying to "spin" it so that they sound like rebels (too risque to broadcast live) I just do not appreciate being lied too, and now have another reason NOT to listen to these guys. ::)
 
I think you owe Pete and company an apology, this came from Pete himself, early this morning (3:30 to be exact)


BTW his salutation proves he has a sense of humor, Pete is a pretty down to earth guy if you ever get to meet him

The city didn’t stop us from broadcasting…they stopped the cask n flagon from opening early enough for us to start our show there. Wouldn’t have made sense to start our show there when we couldn’t have invited anyone one into the place. We started broadcasting there @ 8 am and the doors opened at 8:30. BCN took over our equipment at 10 am with Adam 1-2.

I know what I heard on the air, I know what was said. A caller called in and said " I thought you were going to be broadcasting at the cask n flagon today?" and the response he was given was that the city would not allow k and m to broadcast the show from there, then a discussion of it with comments about how tom menino and the city barred them from broadcasting, and what were they so afraid of?. That is what I heard. If it was just a bit or if you misspoke then fine but I heard what I heard, and I heard the manner in which it was presented which was "we are renegades and the city is trying to keep us down" At that point I got out of my fathers car and picked up my car from the mechanics garage and started listening to opie and anthony.
