A radio station playing what sounded like a horror show I picked up a few minutes ago while we were driving on the NW side of SA around Babcock / Huebner. Can't place the audio though. http://sndup.net/23568/d

And near the end it gets something else. Country music. But then I decided to turn the recorder off.
Perhaps two low powered stations?

Some Gym's have TV's that are playing through FM transmitters. The one I go to has that, has 4 TV's 4 frequencies. They are using the C Crane FM transmitters. That could be what that was. The country station could of been KIXS 108 in Victoria 107.9.

Interesting but the audio sounded like the transmitter was far too close to be all the way in Victoria. Perhaps we drove by it, or KIXS just upped the power by 1000 times for a few seconds. LOL. I'm thinking the former.

I recognized the clip as a Scooby Doo movie or episode.
Some people use an FM transmitter to beef up the sound of their car DVD player.
That's probably what you heard as the two of you drove together for a stretch.
The country may have been KFAN in fredsburg/Johnson City.

Or it could of been someone's else transmitter transmitting mp3s, Siriusxm, etc.

Still, if the weather was right KIXS can come in like a local even in the fringe of KFAN. Last I listened to KFAN they were more AAA format, that was newer country like KIXS would play.
