Heard VB this morning...

...for a few min's. Doug mentioned he's getting his second shot this week. He also suggested that some (lagging Repuplicans) are holding out for $$$. I don't think anyone will be paid to do the correct thing. Maybe some are getting sick days though I don't know why. So what if your arm hurts?

Did all the local conservative hosts get their shots?

Howie may have...
Were you listening on WGY online or distant signal (even by day..) WGY could reach much of New England but stations like the 800 in Lawrence could block it

Your tagline: "Color Radio" and "Pulsebeat News" were what I used to hear on WPRO-AM 630 in the early 60s.

Crazy Kuhner says there is no way he is getting the shot. "My body my choice baby"
Can't say I blame him there.

Know a guy in my town, had his two shots, two weeks later he's in the ICU with COVID and in a week he was dead. They think it may have been Antibody Dependent Enhancement.

I do consulting work for a pharmaceutical company and am intimately familiar with the AERS and VAERS. Download the VAERS database and take a look at the adverse reactions to the vaccine.

It is also important to remember the vaccine is approved for 'emergency use'. It isn't a tested, proven vaccine. People who take it are participating in the largest human vaccine trial in world history. There are no commercially produced, proved mRNA vaccines in general public use today. Up to now they've only been used in clinical trials for experimental drugs.

All that said, I still recommended my 82 year old father and 78 year old mother get it. At 56 I'm going to pass for the time being. Maybe I'll reconsider in another year. I don't care if that means they won't let me in to a venue, gives me a reason to stay home and spend time with my 2 y/o daughter.

Off topic: If so, then he had pre-existing conditions, which they ask you about when you get vaccinated.

Vaccines are 95% effective. That means there's a 5% chance that you will still get it. That's why they recommend to stay careful. The only way to stop this thing is for a large percentage to get vaccinated. Otherwise it could last for years.

with us how he heard VB.
I didn't know it was a problem? Over the ri/Ma line into Attleb. on a Grundig G5 portable. The signal isn't as good as winter but it's not unintelligible either. Sept - March should be good.

As for the vaccine I've heard 95% of MD's have got it. I can see why women may be concerned. It shouldn't be political.

It’s that those of us in the Merrimack Valley have a super strong daytime signal at 800 KHz, so even with a super-selective and sensitive receiver, trying to pull in WGY wouldn’t be easy. Yes, we can stream, but where’ the fun in that?

Like I tell my friends...."Some folks enjoy cooking, others just wanna eat something. We DX'ers are like the gourmet chefs. We may still do take-out, but the pleasure is in doing it all yourself."

The analogy was originally meant as a way of saying, "Two guys left work thinking they would each have a fish sandwich for dinner. One did it all himself. The other bought his at the drive-thru.....Which one had a fish sandwich for dinner?"
Some people just enjoy D-I-Y.

WGY is on 810 AM and is a clear channel station. You can also get it on the internet.
