Hearing WHAT on your TV?

My sister, visiting from Fresno, says that she's hearing numbers stations and the mysterious Yosemite Sam station on her TV. She has cable.

I've heard of TVs receiving radio signals, but not with cable, and never shortwave signals.

Has this happened elsewhere? Is my sister hearing things?

I'm in Fresno and have no such signals coming out of my cable TV. Fresno is known for making formerly sane people nutz tho ;D

Comcast has obviously substituted The Yosemite Sam Channel for Lifetime on
their systems....

That cable-numbers station will lose whatever viewers it has when the Test Pattern Network signs on tomorrow. Sorry, for those of you with satellite, it will be a few weeks before this new cable network is picked up.

That sounds like an improvement for some channels as well... ;D

Find out what channels she's hearing the stations on. That will help us find what station's causing the harmonics on the TV band.
