Heather Moore Leaves 3TV

Are you sure she has a private page? I looked & couldn't find anything...the one she seems to always use is up-to-date. She posted that her son turned 29 yesterday, and prior to that, pix of 2 weeks on a beach vacation for her 10th wedding anniversary. She posted a very generic goodbye on July 14 to viewers...just a thanks for the well-wishes, and that she's happy to be home at night with her family. I tried to copy & paste it for you here, but it wouldn't let me.

No, I'm not sure if Heather has a private page. I just thought it was odd that the "farewell" post was removed a day after she posted it. In fact, I couldn't even find her Facebook page after she "signed off".

Some news to share --
A viewer sent me this pic on Friday as I was signing off.
It was my last night with 3TV.
Arizona's Family has been my home away from home for a total of 11 years -- more than half of my career, (plus another 4 in Phoenix at CBS5) and I want to pass along my sincere gratitude for your trust in us and the chance to serve this wonderful community.
It has been my privilege to inform and entertain you....even when things got a little crazy over the past year.
For now, I am right where I need to be --
Home at night for the first time in years with my precious family.
I'll be around -- please don't hesitate to say hello if you see me out.
For my work friends, there's lots of love and a special place in my heart.
We will always be Arizona's Family.

I recently saw a commercial with Heather talking about the AZAG office. Looked at her social media and she's done a few posts about her new job. Didn't know Brittni Thomason was there.

Speaking of another AZ Family Anchor Who Left News to Join a Government Position, I saw Fields Moseley on 3TV. He was interviewed, not live, about a Maricopa County issue. Moseley has been with the office since 2015.

Is there any other market in the country that has such a cozy relationship between media and government? This has been all too common in Phoenix going back over 70 years, going back to KOY's John Howard Pyle being elected Governor and then-Senator Earnest McFarland using his influence to get the CP for Channel 3.

Correction: Wrong Governor. Jack Williams was at KOY. Pyle came from KTAR.

Rightly or wrongly, both Moore and Thomason might be out of a job by November-- along with their "new" boss. But that's another topic I suppose.
