With all the talk about the new and old COOL (KOOL) and their staffs , Im surprised no one has mentioned Heather White (of Dave & Heather on COOL 969)is joining the Promise morning show with Gary in a week or so...Gary has been talking about it openly on air and they have a poll about it on their website 1065thepromise.com..... Good Luck to Heather and I am sure she will do well...I was always amazed when working events with her how many 'fans' she had that had listened to her the whole time she was on COOL (11 years I think)....The numbers for the already suprising Promise should improve a bit.......<P ID="signature">______________

Thanks for the info. Indeed I'm happy for Heather but I won't be listening - that format is just not my cup of tea. I will admit to actually feeling down about this news. I surely thought Heather would wind up co-hosting on a new Kool morning show.
Heather never made the big bucks but did Renda even consider her after non-compete was over? Heather does have a good following and this would have been a boost for Kool. Another selling point perhaps to advertisers.
We're all supposed to be getting very excited about July 1. I love Tom Murphy and can't say enough aobut the guy but if the lineup is Arf, Tom and Briggs..well...y'all can pretty much figure the impact that will make........

>*** From what I heard the PROMISE pursued Heather pretty much from the beginning ...Dont know if Renda tried or not....they are stupid if they didnt....Even though Renda or Salem wont be able to pay Heather what she was making I sure the fact the PROMISE was more established was a factor...Gary seems to be a good guy so Im sure they will work well together
