Must be something in the air. The GM of heritage news-talk KGO San Francisco, one of the highest billing stations in the market, had enough and walked. He'd been there more than 30 years. Farid makes the Mays family look lovable? At least the owners at Townsquare admit they don't really know much about radio, and seem willing to hire people who do. Citadel keeps losing, and the other groups in town keep gaining. Well, Citadel's cutting costs. Anybody want to guess what the recent defections will do to revenue?
He'd better know some heavy hitters who'll work for what Farid's allowing Citadel Buffalo to offer - which apparently ain't enough.
