Does anyone else feel embarassed by the Bud Heddinger car commercial? I'm no fan of his station but that ad makes him look ridiculous. He sounds like a hobo when he says "you may wonder how I got this job. The owner hired me over the phone!"

  Can't see it Bob up here in Greensboro, But I tell ya, we got the damn worst Bob King ..whatever ads with some dip..laughing and using the phase...NoBody..Yes NoBody..beats at Bob King Mazda Deal...Barrrrrfffffff!

Brings to mind the old >>>Art Grindle Ads...I want to sell you a car...
 
Oh lord, and the Tropic Traveler vans. Don't forget, yours comes with a roof!
 
Wow... that really brings back the old memories// with Arty jumping all over the lot and the cars.... didn't his son do the Tropic Vans... roofs and all?
 
;D I actually bought a 1966 Class T-Bird from Art in 1971.. $1200..Wish I still had that classic! Yeah, I remember the vans!!

I know I saw an Art Grindle Car spot on UTube not long ago..I'll research..Hell as big of a pack rat as I am, I may have one on "Kinescope"!!
