Get those VCRs & blank tapes ready! :D

COUNTRY MUSIC TELEVISION (CMT) brings the classic Country comedy HEE HAW back to life. Beginning on SATURDAY JULY 29th at 5p (ET) , CMT will present CMT HEE HAW WEEKEND. Each of the famous variety-show episodes will feature some of country music's biggest stars from the shows inception in 1969, until it's end in 1991. Episodes will continue to air through the month of AUGUST.

Where, where are you tonight? Why did you leave me here all alone? I searched the world over and thought I found true love. You met another (thhhpppp) you were gone!

Love that song. I actually found the original long version of that song by Buck Owens. I always thought it was just a short ditty just for the show. I don't know if the original is in print anymore, all I have is a bad bootleg that someone taped from a scratched record. Its still a good song though.

How bout... Gloom despair and agony on me, "woah!: deep dark depression excessive misery (woah!). If it weren't for bad luck I'd have no luck at all. (woah!) Gloom despair and agony on me!

"Hey Grandpa, whats for supper

And for 37 years, I thought it was

Was it just me, or did anyone else think Cathy Baker was hot?

I'm not positive if I remember which one she was, but if she's who I think
she is, I wouldn't mind [EDIT] in the cornfield. The perky blonde?

Anyway, with the exception of Minnie Pearl and the others of her age,
all the women on that show were hot.

One reason the show is back is the music. Check out most of those TimeLife Infomercials for Classic Country. Some of the only video available are the stars appearances on the show..that and Ralph Emerys various shows and "Pop Goes The Country" Some of those comedians are...or were...some of the nicest folks youd ever want to meet

Actually it ran in syndication until 1996.

It's about time, I tired of this reality tv glut.

I never watched that reality crap in the first place.

Is Hee haw still on? (I never watch CMT or any other music channel, but I'll make an exception.)

73s from 954...listening to an interesting recording of Mack The Knife on my PC.
