I see it's up on KLOS' site. I was sad to see Mark retire. I've listened to M&B since I was a kid. I was sad to see KLSX flip. I REALLLLLY enjoyed the Ace Man, FH&F, and Tom. It was a full day of LMAO. Is H&F syndicated like M&B was? I'd like to listen on Sac's 96.9 The Eagle.<<

Does anyone know if Heidi and Frank will be on 96.9 The Eagle tomorrow morning? Would be cool to listen mornings on the road.

I have no idea if they're just in L.A., or get syndication too. I guess we'll find out on Tue.

That will be interesting to see (hear).

I'm embarrassed to admit, I don't know who Heidi and Frank are.
 
I believe Heidi and Frank were 2/3rds of the KLSX morning show or had their own afternoon show on KLSX before CBS blew up the station to make way for 97.1 AMP Radio (KAMP).

Frosty, now on STAR 101.3 (KIOI) was other third. I think.

KTHU/100.7 in Chico, who used to carry M&B now air The Bob & Tom Show. I can't see the Eagle going that route.

It sounds like they plan on going local.
 
Thanks Kent for posting. I discovered music only on Tue., then heard Derek and Kat banter a bit.

BTW, for years Kat has made me LMAO with her funny stuff. If someone could create good chemistry with her, I bet that'd be a good morning show. I'd do it for 6 fig.'s, and a 5 year, iron clad contract. Too much? 8)

Personally, I would prefer a locally-hosted morning drive show with music, news and humor and talk in between the sets and before the commercials just like in the good old days (pre mid-1990s). But that's just my personal tastes.

I wonder if Entercom is considering placing Greg Kihn on KSEG's morning drive slot. He's already on their Bay Area Classic Rockers (K-Fox) at 98.5 and 102.1 during morning drive. Greg Kihn has national (and local) name recognition, and Sacramento could be a test market for possible future syndication into other markets. Only time will tell. I am just speculating. Entercom could do far worse than Greg Kihn.

I would be happy if they kept things just as they are now.

I am curious, Are there any Entercom radio stations that carry Bob & Tom? I still think they might be a possibilty. They are very popular on Classic Rock stations. Especially in California.
 
I heard a spot today about their current search for a new morning show. It mentioned Derek & Kat during the interim, but they are looking for a local show that also plays music. So no syndication. I think leaving Greg Kihn in the Bay Area is best.

Regarding Bob & Tom - I never "got" their show. They've been on forever and I know people who love 'em. Still, they sound "small market" to me...whatever that means.

I think Entercom is going to take their time finding the right talent for this slot. They appreciate the many years of loyal listeners to M&B and aren't going the cheap route. I would bet they keep Kat on for news, etc...maybe even try to pair with the new talent. She's been on that station forever...
