HEIDI HARRIS OUT AT KDWN

I wonder if Stock will take over? I don't think he likes getting up early. Norm's column mentions something about a "lawyer." Probably just a joke.

The las Vegas morning stuff is hard to figure. I would think 670 AM would run Laura Ingram instead of the America's Morning News in the 6-9 am.

Imus is OK on 970, if you like him.

KXNT Morning NEWS? Haven't made up my mind.

If kdwn wanted to save money, they could just run one of their music stations on 720 and have paid sports programing and gambling shows at night. With the nighttime signal, it would work good.

Not to rub it in...but I heard some interesting commentary over the years about the "unemployed" and "unemployment insurance" on KDWN... dog walking Heidi?

She still pops up on the website accessed from google, but she doesn't show when you go to the main KDWN page. (see the link above)

Maybe the web guy is a high school kid who was grounded over the weekend.

Maybe that KMZQ will pick her up, they haven't had a local morning person since their previous host took a plea bargain in the HOA kickback case.

6 hours of America's "mourning" news is too much.
 
Now the KDWN website shows Alan Stock 6 am to 9am m-f. Well of course I predicted this, back in October of 2011 they put his picture above that of Heidi on the website. I wonder what they will do 9am to noon? Infomercials or Huckabee?

I also noticed Jerry Doyle will do a show from the Suncoast casino every first Friday of the month. Hey Jerry! are you going to but everyone a free buffet?
 
Why is Heidi Harris gone from KDWN? Economics or remarks made a couple of weeks ago? Big mistake to drop her...they've lost mornings!

Maybe she will return to KXNT and replace their (last I heard) low rated morning news block?
