I recently found this most informative site about just about everything you would want to know about the goings on in radio, I have internet radios as well as good DXing AM radios, and have been into broadcast radio for almost 70 years.
 
So far I am really enjoying trading stories and info, I was born with an AM Zenith transistor radio in my hand and have never stopped, I couldn't wait for night time so I can get WKBW, WOWO, CKLW and more, I went through 9 volt batteries like gangbusters.
 
Welcome to RD! As a child, I received an RCA transistor radio (AM only) as a birthday present. I've been an avid listener ever since.
