Hello there, from the parched desert of Utah

I love radio, now, thanks to the internet, I can pull in stations from all over. Currently, my favorite is AccuRadio.

Hello! Two questions... where from Utah? I've been there before but its been forever since I last went. Two... why AccuRadio?

Salt Lake City. Long ago my employer brought me here. Since we parted ways I have stayed and will never go back to NY. The geology in Utah is amazing and never ceases to surprise us. I like AccuRadio because it has over 1000 channels and is free, although I would be willing to pay for it. AR lets one choose genres and time periods in music whether your taste is classical, jazz or rock.

Oooooh! I haven't been to the metro in so long! I have family in nearby Syracuse but Utah's beauty amazes me. I would love to go back again.

Also, that's interesting and cool. Depending on paid or free, there are various services I use. For paid, I use SiriusXM and Spotify Premium for my music. For free, its DI.FM. Although the latter is strictly on EDM, there's also RadioTunes, Jazz Radio, Zen Radio and etc. that you can also check out. There are premium plans for those, but I stay with free on the latter for now.

Thanks for the tip on Jazz Radio, I have found a few interesting streams there. About two years ago I found an internet Radio that eminated from Dubai. While it had good playlists of classical and jazz the organization was maddening. Every stream was call something like The Best Of ... however on my small phone screen that's all I could see, and every stream used the same icon, a yellow star. I know they meant well but I had to memorize the location of each artist. Recently I checked the Play Store but I could not find it again, I wonder what became of it.

Hah! I found it: Exclusive Radio. It does not have its own app, it is available through apps like Radio FM when searched as Exclusively. Like AccuRadio it seems to have over 1000 channels.
