Hello?

Hope more post..the excuse for not having a Detroit or Michigan board always was "we can't touch the Buzzboard". Can we prove that position wrong?

always interested in radio, and lived in the beautiful Wolverine State for 5 yrs...so count me in.

Used to live in northern Wisconsin...grew up listen to WJMS and WIMI - wondering what and how they're doing these days...

my in-laws are from the western U.P. Last time I was thru there they were still
doing Radio Bingo.

There is already an established board to discuss radio in Michigan. www.michiganbuzzboard.com. It covers radio and tv all over Michigan and has different sections for each region of the state. Check it out.

That's the problem with it. It has radio and TV on one board, and radio loses.

I worked in radio years back and then went into the audio recording industry and did well until that died. I still have a great interest in radio and audio in general but radio is not the outlet for quality audio any more. MASSIVE processing in the norm in the interest of LOUDNESS. Sad, with digital radio we have the best delivery system yet and we produce JUNK audio and content. GO FIGURE. Listener Fatigue reigns!

Only the real professionals (REAL RADIO PEOPLE) can change the Michigan market and the industry as well. The corporates certainly can't. Look what they have done to the radio!!!

Let's quit complaining and become a brain trust to try to change the industry back to the exciting, challanging and ethical industry it once was.

Only those "who know" can.

I am confused. In one breath, you slam corporate radio and how lousy the audio is, then in the next breath you say "let's quit complaining".

The latter has to start somewhere.
