Hello

My name is Gary Helming. I’m a long time radio systems engineer. I’ve worked in broadcasting but mostly in utility radio and microwave systems. Am a Registered Professioal engineer in Montana, California and Oregon. Worked radio in Dillon MT back in the days of Gates 1B tube transmitters, IGM automation, and the big turntables into a Gates Yard board. Those were the days.

Nice to have another engineer with us. I was a technician and know some things, my last job it was all Ham operators, all of us had at least a class 3 ticket before the restricted general telephone ticket. The olden times just don't seem to be that long ago.
