HELP FREQUENCY GEEKS!!!!!

My Sirius radio sends its signal to my car radio over FM and I cannot seem to find a channel with NO interference......can you guys suggest a channel that has NO signal on it in the Miami area? I have had some success with 106.5...but you guys would know better than I. PLEASE HELP!

I used to use 103.1 since the Palm beach signal is so weak. Also have used 102.1 and 106.3.

Use an external modulator which switches the radio's antenna input from the car radio antenna to the Sirius signal as you turn the Sirius unit on and off. My radio remains tuned to my favorite local station which has a strong and full quieting signal throughout my travels, but when I turn my XM unit on, the XM unit completely overpowers the local station. This method has the added advantage of not transmitting any noticeable signal to other drivers on the road, making you a more responsible neighbor. With a half dozen installs over the past decade, this is the only way I ever have installed and ever would install.

ai4i is right. The right way to install your modulator in your car is so that the outside antenna is disconnected when the modulator is connected to your radio. That way you don't get outside signals and your modulator should be the only thing you hear.

Some unscruplious installers don't know this or don't care and leave the outside antenna connected hoping you won't be near a station on the same frequency as your modulator when you are listening. Such an install is lazy and results in everone around your car hearing what your listening to while parked at a light if they are tuned to your modulator frequency at the same time you can't hear what you want. If your having trouble finding a open frequency it could be your antenna is still connected when your listening to satelite radio. If it is take it back to the dealer or installer and tell them to do it right.
