as fine of an effort as it was...the WMURTV telethon Thursday Night for Hurricane Katrina releif Fund....this was an opportunity for the NHAB to step up and incorporate all radio stations with the broadcast. WZID and WOKQ weaseled in.

Nassau made a really nice effort raising more than $20,000 (thru their listeners, no corparte money inviolved).

Where was Al Spargue?

kudos to ed broudeur for his appearance and comments.

The Saga cluster in Keene (WKNE, WOQL, WINQ, WKBK, and WZBK) raised over $60,000 today during a 12 hour remote for the Red Cross.

Look at the NHAB website. Hurricane Katrina relief links are on the home page...and there is a special link on the left side of the page, under the open jobs.
At a time like this...maybe we should find better things to do besides logging onto this board and pointing the finger over who is doing what to help.
