Help ID'ing station on 1040KHZ

SW Ohio
Sat 9/18/10
7:30p to 8:00p Eastern (sign-Off)
Station in Chinese w/male & female announcers & a chinese pop tune thrown in.

Like I said, they signed off at 8p, and the signal was strong. Antenna was directed NE/SW.

Second time I've heard Chinese on 1040 in the last couple of weeks.

Thanks for your help.

Could have been Korean.

It was a bit odd as the carrier stayed on for a while after 8:00p & they show a power reduction to 77 watts.

I'll try again tomorrow night.

I heard them like a local just after 7am central here in Nashville...
also heard them a few days earlier around 830am...not clear, but audible.

Last night 1190/KPHN, Kansas City (Radio Disney) was fading in and out well past the time they should have dropped power from 5KW to .5KW, and gone directional. It also helped that WOWO was weaker than usual.
