HELP-Mystery on 1110

Tonight, the dominate station on 1110 is not KBND-it's a strong station with classic hits. I've heard "Steal Away" Robbie Dupree, "Brown Eyed Girl" Van Morrison, "Miss You Much" Janet Jackson (almost '90), and "September" Earth, Wind and Fire so far. I know KLIB is owned by Multicultural Broadcasting, so they would likely air MOYL late at night (like KIQI and KXPA), but the M-O-Y-L feed is not matching. KBND should have George Noory on right now. Is someone testing, or is KBND out of whack? No IDs between songs.

The only classic hits stations I can think of on 1110 is across the nation from you, in Massachusetts (WUPE).

Mexico perhaps? Daytimer that forgot to power down?

Was this station coming in stronger than KBND normally does? I'm thinking maybe something happened with their satellite feed and they played music as filler. I can't find any stations with that format on 1110 other than the previously mentioned WUPE, but I don't think they would play Janet Jackson from 1989.

I heard it also.

The oldies station on 1110 seemed a lot stronger than KBND, and appeared to be un-nullable. I live in Western WA, just as crainbebo does.

I wonder if KRPA in Oak Harbor was on overnight by accident? Maybe they were playing a satellite feed of oldies or something?

They're only 500 watts, though. Maybe it was KBND, and unusually strong conditions. But all oldies?

After hearing KBND pounding in earlier this evening (evening of 11/15), where it had similar signal strengths to the mystery station crainbebo and I heard a few nights ago, I wonder if the mystery station was indeed KBND -- maybe they had issues with their satellite feed.

I've never tuned into KRPA during darkness. I've only heard them sign on in the morning with their South Asian programming, and if memory serves, their signal wasn't as strong as what we heard a few nights ago.
