Help Needed. 1120KHZ. Sunset. Oct 20 2011

From about 7:05p through 7:31p (EST), was hearing Fox Sports Radio over a very weak KMOX. PRD-5, KMOX nulled, so signal was most likely coming from N/S, probably from the South. Could'nt hear the I.D. nor local commercial at the bottom of the hour as KMOX was dominating at the time.

Any guesses?

I have no idea. ??? I was thinking WKCE in TN but it's ESPN in Spanish according to http://topazdesigns.com/ambc/

I heard the ESPN on 1120 last night as well. It was deep under KMOX and my radio had to be pointed just so. All I could find was WKCE from TN, but I also saw that they are ESPN Deportes. Hmmmm...

Last time I was there the TN station was carrying the English language ESPN. Seems like they were switching back and forth for awhile.

Definitely could be WKCE as here in SW Ohio, a Marysville station is in a great location for nulling KMOX.

I noticed the website listed for them on Wiki is not working.

WKCE is daytime, so no one should hear them between 7:05-7:30pm CT!

They are co-owned by an English ESPN station, WVLZ, so it could have been a computer meltdown.

co-owned WVLZ although daytime only ran night-time for almost a year, WKCE is also guilty of staying on. FCC doesn't take notice, so it happens a lot now.
