Hey Gang:

I need a couple of traffic reporters to work on an internet data project for the week of April 21st.

Must know Atlanta highways, "average drive times" and "standard back ups".

Three shifts available (5a - 9a), (9a - 3p), (3p-7p) Monday - Friday. Paid training session Sunday afternoon.

What about an intern? Can I have an intern? 5'2 and small framed blond. If you can get me an intern I am all in, otherwise I don't get out of bed for a 25 buck and hour temp job.

Average Drive Times = TOO DAMN LONG!

Standard Back ups = YES, BACKUPS ARE THE STANDARD.

Wow, my sense of humor must be tainted, but boy is the Jim Vann comment out of line.

Thanks to those of you who are interested, I have emailed back a few of you.

If anyone knows Joy Barge, or Jason Durden, pass this on to them. I was on the air in Atlanta in the mid 80's and know both of them, just have lost touch.

Hi Joy! I think you do a great job and sound great too. Also, didn't I hear Bevery Molander's voice doing traffic recently? Remember her from the Marta Traffic Watch years ago?

Oh, as for standard backups:

The top end is jammed from the cobb cloverleaf to the junction in both directions. westbound travellers will be hitting their brakes near the Dunwoodies. The connector is packed in both directions from Brookwood to the Grady Curve. 400 is a 55 minute drive from the perimeter to Windward parkway. 75 northbound in to Cobb you're looking at 35 minutes from the river to Chastain. Forget about the Stone Mountain freeway, and your ride time into Gwinnett is about 45 minutes from JCB out to Sugarloaf. On the southside, clayton county police reports an accident near 675 and the ride crawls all the way to hudson bridge eagles landing. west freeway is backed up inside the perimeter heading out to douglas, and there is an accident on 285 southbound near memorial. I can keep going with surface roads...
