Help with Scott Studios automation?

Are there any internet message boards to get help with DSS?

They want $700 per year for the privilege of phoning questions in to them. Or you can pay something like $150 for a single question if you don't subscribe to the annual service.

Are there any help boards anywhere, where DSS users help each other and avoid the huge fees?

Thanks,

---Dan

Post your questions here, I know there are a lot of us using Scott on this board. I suspect between us, there is enough know how to help you out.

I had the same cost battle myself, but by framing my request for funds as save our butt support for what comes out to about $59 bucks a month I was able to get the higher ups to spring for it.

good luck

In fact there are one or two of us former Scott techs that look in here regularly..
Edited by Drew5164 on 03/29/06 08:28 PM.

Thanks for the info, guys - I have no specific questions now, but it's nice to know I have a place to go if and when a problem arises.
Edited by dan on 03/30/06 01:13 PM.

You know, that is one thing I love about this business. we are never more than three calls or two emails away from someone who knows what you need to know and for the most part is happy to help.

My wife has been amazed that I can call someone I've never talked to before late at night and he will dig through the garage for a part that hasn't been manufactured in 15 years and put a part on an airplane.
