I'm sorry but it seems that nobody will answer this question:
Hey, I think it's great that WB will be on free here in the Lubbock mareket. But from a cable stand point, I have a little problem.
You see, in the part of Lubbock I live, I need cable to watch both 14 and 22. Now, that wouldn't be a problem, except that there has been no announcement about whether WB 22 will be carried by Cox cable. Right now, UPN is carried on Cox Channel 6 in Lubbock, and WB remains on 23. That means that if I want to watch WB where I live, I need to shell out an extra 21 dollars for Extended basic, whereas if I just had basic cable, I would only be able to watch UPN, but not WB. That's because, You pay about $14 for channels 1-19, and an extra $21 for channels 20-64. (i. e, it's the differnce between $14 and $50)
So my question is this, does anyone know if there are any plans for WB's cable broadcast to move below channel 19 on Cox Cable Lubbock?
Because, if not, the fact that WB will be available over the air is worthless to me, (and I imagine, many others). And because I live in an appartment, a roof antenna is NOT an option.
Anyone?
Also, I noticed that WB23 is now missing from my Yahoo Cox Cable TV listings. And when I click on the UPN listing, it gives me KWBZ and all the WB listings, so there's no listing for UPN. Am I going to be without UPN on my cable now?
