HELP!!!!

Hi.

I am hoping one of you guys could help me.

We have an old 8-track tape. Apparently, this is the only known recording of a relative who passed away about 50 years ago.

We do not have an 8-track tape player. I do not want to purchase one at Goodwill or a garage sale just so we can listen to it because it may jeopardize the quality of the tape.

So I was hoping that one of you could tell me if you know someone who has some good tested equipment where we can make either a cassette tape or CD of this recording. I do not know how long it is or if the recording is actually on the tape but it would mean a lot to his surviving younger sister (my mother-in-law) if she could hear her late brother sing.

Please advise either on this forum or e-mail me at [email protected]

Thanks.
