Henderson releases his "death grip' on a few stations.

Kalil & Co Acquires Six Radio Stations
Brokerage firm Kalil & Co. announces the formation of a holding company that's acquiring six radio stations from Fort Bend Media Broadcasting and LaGrange Broadcasting Corporations.
Kalil Holding Company, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Kalil & Co., is acquiring AC WBNZ/Soft Rock 99.3-Frankfort, MI; Classic Country KMBV/Lonestar FM)/Navasota, TX; Classic Country KEZB/Lonestar FM-Edna, TX; and Country trimulcast KTXM & KHLT-AM/Halletsville, TX and KYKM/Yoakum, TX (Texas Thunder Radio) from Fort Bend Media Broadcasting Co. and La Grange Broadcasting Corp. KALIL will turn around and offer the stations for sale after the conclusion of the deal.
 
I can see a new TV series: "Flip This Station." And I'm not just talking format.

Will be interesting to see if the eventual new owners buy these on spec and attempt some significant signal upgrades/moves.

I miss the former FCC rule that required owners to hold a station for minimum of 3years...it's starting to become rampant now..
