Just discovered my MARTI BR-10 receiver broadcasts, but sounds like the ocean during
a hurricane. Anyone out there in the atmosphere have a backup I can rent while I am
sending the sick one to the radio hospital?
Frequencies are 153.11 or 153.17.
I would truly appreciate any help at all.

Try SCMS in Pineville,NC. They rent all kinds of remote gear. They'll even take that crappy old Marti as a trade in for a Hotline!

That's a really good idea! Bob Cauthen is a really great guy. A real radio guy all the way!
 
I have to agree, Bob is a really great guy. He helped me out many times. I did not know he wah still around. Shows how out of touch I am.
