Herald: Carter Alan's WBCN book

http://bostonherald.com/inside_track/the_inside_track/2013/09/tell_all_details_fall_of_wbcn

Carter Alan's book about WBCN...
killed by corporate ownership, a schizophrenic format (Stern, rock,
Patriots) or maybe its time had come
and gone...

Got a chance to go to the book signing Monday night at Jerry Remy's, 1265 Boylston Street (of course the former location of WBCN for many years). WBCN Free Form Rock was broadcasting live. It was a fun event. MANY WBCN alum were all there, among Bradley Jay, Ken Shelton, Sam Kopper, Mark Parenteau, Jerry Goodwin, Oedipus, Tami Heidi, Adam 12, Hardy, and even Oedipus along with Carter of course. The book seems like it will be an interesting read, and Carter seems to be happy at the way the book turned out, albeit he did mention he originally did not feel it would be worth writing at first. He made the decision to write the memoir after the urging from his wife. A great piece of radio history for us radio enthusiasts to enjoy.
