Herb Winches sues...again

Here's an article I found online today about Herb Winches burning more bridges it seems, suing (again)...this time it's channel 42's turn. Is there any station in Birmingham left for Herb to work for now?

Here's the link:

The only TV station in the market that Herb hasn't been on over the years is 33/40. And he's never worked for Crawford or Cox, so I guess there's always a chance for Mr. Bombastic (thick sarcasm).

BTW...am I the only one who remembers his lead story on Channel 6 in the '70's that the Minnesota Vikings were moving to Birmingham? Heck, maybe they could come on down now and play in the LarryDome when it's built!

Any truth to the anecdote that Winches once MC'ed a cancer charity function with the opening words, "Good evening cancer fans"? Someone on a UAB Blazers messageboard swears its true.
