Jacobs and politics.
If you don't want to have religion or politics mixed into your sports- then I assume you are boycotting ESPN.
That entire network tries to push a left-wing agenda through sports the way Rolling Stone does through pop culture.
So Jacobs' political leanings don't bother me- and I'm not sure that Andrew "Hip Hop Nerd" Siciliano is exactly showing Republican bias. Certainly I never heard it when he was co-hosting with Tony Bruno.
As far as Jacobs goes, I'm not sure his political leanings bother me (they generally don't if you agree with them). You're trying to find a niche audience in radio- conservative sports fans might not be such a bad way to go.
However, what made him unlistenable in my eyes was his complete inability to get off his "I hate the Miami Dolphins" takes. It's all he had- and while at first he came off as humorous by a year of it you got sick of it.
Besides, if you are such a big New York Jets fan- what are you doing in Phoenix- let alone in a position that requires objectivity.
