And yes I plan on advertising heavy for this new start up, once I'm able to get it on the air and in business.

B.T.W. As I type these words out, I'm getting even more excited over this. Selma has never had anything quite like I'm fixing to bring. A revolution or should I say, a much needed jolt is fixing to come to this radio dial. Man I'm so excited over this. And yes I'm slightly handicapped. And I already know that God uses weak people and things to accomplish great things for His kingdom.

Also, a few quick but respectful reminders. It's not a business. It's not you doing it. Stay focused on what needs to happen first and on Who is making that possible.

Just trying to come up with some ideas I want to use for the on air presentation. 

I have no doubts about this. 

God is still telling me not to worry or argue with Him. 

Things are going to work out. 

Be patient and wait on Me. 

I have everything you need already in my hand. 

Just stay strong and trust in Me. 

I'll take care of the rest.

R.D.P - Please don't specifically call out some of our other Christian broadcasters on the air. Believe me, I have been in Christian Radio for 17 years in the Biloxi, Hattiesburg and Pensacola markets. There have been some real duds on the air that I think have been an embarrassment to the Kingdom at times. But my preacher always reminded me that they are aiming in the same direction that we are. Though it really doesn't seem like it at times!!!

P.S. no I don't work for one of those "non-comm" conglomerates.

I agree -- Just because Moody and AFR and others don't fit your taste does not mean make comments about them on air -- Not professional considering we are all out for the same thing and that's to further the kingdom (or to encourage it) .. I know there is a lot of "bashing" of CCM and some networks on because they don't do a specific target but mind you - These ministries are reaching people.. I believe God can and does all sources of media out there to impact peoples lives.

Also, to be honest I would stop starting a new thread here for every subject on your proposed station. Things like imaging etc.. are not really decided until a license is in hand. My recommendation is to focus on your local fundraising and shore up a support base and get the license in your hand then start to worry about the fine details of the station... Until you have a station built.
