HERE COMES THE TUMBLEWEEDS

I know this wont seem like a surprise to anyone, and I am an XM lover by the way.
but isn't there anything to talk about anymore "formats, personalities, rumors, happenings, Anything?.
Its been over a month since the last post, is local radio that boring around here? Where is everybody ? does anyone even care, hello ???

I think you've said what's on the minds of a lot of us. But not much has developed around here in the last few months. WRSC/AM has changed direction yet again, dropping its two or so liberal talk shows in favor of financial product hucksters. Forever hasn't done anything both outrageous and public. Wowy/Magic traded for a new car with one station's info on each side. Qwick Rock's parking lot shrank. The Lemont station still isn't on the air. WPHB hasn't done anything to warrant a Facebook protest site. And the NOAA Weather Station at 1640 is reported to have scored a ratings spike in the recent heat wave. Dog days of August, alright.

Right. It's WOWY and WISH. Just shows you what an impression all this stuff makes. By me, there are two kinds of "music" radio stations in this area, those that try to blow out my speaker cones and those that don't. WISH and Magic are among those that don't so I confuse them, I guess. Forever/"Fauxever?" Subtle. Cute. Accurate.
