Here is what I think the Blitz should sound like...

Alright so I was in Lima all weekend for the 4 wheel drive Jamboree, and had WBYR 98.9 The Bear outside of Fort Wayne on all weekend. People that I took from Marysville really enjoyed the station, as did I. In my honest opinion, if they want to do rock, here is how they need to do it. Go to www.yes.com and then type in WBYR in the "Search for Channels" box. Then click on Song Log and do a little search. New active rock and old rock. Sounds like a mix of the XM Channels Octane, The Boneyard, and Lithium. I could listen to 98.9 all day every day if I could get here clearer here. I mean within a half hour they played Slipknot's Duality, Zeppelin's Stairway to Heaven, and Powerman 5000's When world's Collide. I really think that format would really rock Columbus. Let 96.3 and 105.7 duke it out, 99.7 needs to take a format like this and run with it. Anybody agree? Disagree?

Yes, it's a good station.  Ft. Wayne has had better radio than Columbus in general for years and years, even though it's roughly market #105.  Oh, the ignominy of Columbus radio!  :'(
