HERE IT BEGINS

DXING logs:

Mississippi
New Orleans (heard DIVA 92.3..now i believe their MIX)
WWL FM (forgot freq)
Rock over 96.9 Dothan
97.3
97.9 - forgot call - CHR branded barely over mighty 98.1 here in FWB

Nope. No Es yet. Maybe in a week, or two, but I haven't seen any reports, or noticed any Es peaking above 50 MHz yet.

DE

104.7 could have been WZZK Birmingham. If 96.9 was lite rock, could have been WRSA Huntsville.

Heard 101.1 - spanish. don't know if that's mexico or did naples change their format?
i can't make heads or tales of it. heard a woman say the frequency in spanish.

-rob

Rob, no stations in Mexico in tropo range on 101.1 and only 2 likely to be heard on Es, which there hasn't been any yet this season. KLOL Houston, TX "Mega 101" is a 100kw Spanish format station. Talk Radio 101 Panama City is tough to get DX over here in Ft Walton Beach but frequent tropo to the Texas coast brings in KLOL often strong. There is another Spanish station further down the coast near Brownsville, TX "Super Estrella" but not as likely as KLOL.

XING logs:

Mississippi
New Orleans WDVW 92.3 is now "Mix 92.3" still hot AC format
WWL FM is on 105.3
Rock over 96.9 Dothan probably KZMZ Alexandria, LA
