Yet ANOTHER new nighttime jock on Z97.1!! Need I say more? Cheapamount Radio at it again!!
 
Good call Will! But the new nighttime jock doesn't even live here!! So our CHR is now voiced from out of market morning and night! Great for the listener to get involved in!
 
Dude, it's Rutland, VT. You're not getting a live Elvis Duran or Jackson Blue.

You know that prime time network TV shows are "voicetracked" too, right?
 
Other than us radio geeks, the average listener doesn't know or care where the jock is as long as they can hear their favorite songs. I'll bet most listeners would be perfectly happy with a jockless station a la Jack/Mike/Bob/Bubba/Fred/Abraham/Martin/John etc.

Besides, this week alone 9,500 jobs lost at DHL.
Circuit City is closing stores and filed for bankrupcy.
Best Buy is in deep do-do.
Just today the owners of the Steeplegate Mall, Concord, N.H. announed there is a better than even chance they will file.
General Motors is toast! Another 2.5 million jobs in auto and all it's related industries.

If Z97 really wanted to put on a good show at night, they'd have the hottest senior chick at MSJ come in and dish for 20 minutes about her classmates.
 
Will...I gotta admit if I wasn't afraid of the resulting lawsuits I'd totally try that.

In fairness to the "Cheapamount" folks, is a new night time jock at a CHR much of a shock? How long is someone supposed to say on at nights at HOW much an hour? I seem to remember people complaining about the former night jock at Z, now Poon is upset that its someone else?

Lets be fair here. There are many things to complain about, I don't think this is one of them. At least there's someone on the air announcing the names of songs!

Is Jackson Blue doing overnights on Z? I know he is out of Dallas now. That would be so funny if he is seeing he got his first pay job in Lebanon NH. See kids you can drean and grow up to be just like Jackson Blue
 
He's hosting Superadio's "Playhouse" now. Z carried the old "All Nite Cafe", but I'm not sure if they still carry Superadio's overnight show.
