Here's a different spin. What stations do you think net the most $ in Columbus?

Though I haven't seen the most recent Miller-Kaplan reports, generally, your top billers are (in no
specific order here):

WNCI, WCOL, WSNY, WTVN...Power may also be in this mix somewhere given it's top 5 status.

I would say:

WNCI
WTVN/WCOL (alternate #2 & #3 depending on month)
WLVQ
WSNY

Clear Channel definitly has 3 stations (and some months 4) in the top 10 and has about a 46% share of all Radio dollars in the market.

figuring on companies...and how the operations run...and you said net dollars, here's mo .02

Clear Channel, due to the number of stations makes the most, but the operations are more expensive, but clearly, they are the market winners on net dollars.

Radio One, fairly consistent good numbers, lower operation cost, (smaller facilities), and lower people cost

Nabco, overall lower cost, high use of automation and canned programming, seems like a small operation

Saga, fairly steady formats and ad rates, self contained, probable lower operating cost, don't seem to use a lot of automation

Wicks, who knows, but those downtown cost have got to be high, expect morning show cost on Q are fairly substantial, and don't know the overall shape of their organization.

my quess, dollar per dollar, R1 probably makes more net per dollar.
