Here's an idea...Aircheck Of The Week!

Since many of us can use www.yousendit.com to send airchecks now, how about we post a current, or classic aircheck once a week that everyone can download? The classic though has to from your market, as does the current. If you're in, respond to this post, and I'll keep a list. When everyone is done posting, we'll work out a schedule of who does what, and when. Since the YSI links stay active for one week, or 25 downloads, this could be fun. I'd like to start this the first week of August. Thanks! Matt
______________

How long will each aircheck be?

Here's the answer to Aircheck Of The Week length!

I would say the maximum is 75-79 minutes so we can burn it to CD if we want to, thanks for reminding me of that Frank!

I'd like to get all the regular guys on this board to get involved, so start thinking about what you want to put up! Thanks! Matt
______________

It sounds fun Matt, but why does it have to come from your market? I travel a lot and generally have more time to aircheck when I'm on the road rather than at home. It might be fun to have airchecks from more places than say, you and me both doing NYC airchecks. How about instead of that, it has to have been recorded by you?

PS. Anyone for Houston or New Orleans airchecks? Trip coming up soon.

I'm not too good with schedules (forget a lot of stuff) but I'll continue to randomly post airchecks from my area on a semi regular basis.
______________

I love the idea and count me in. Have to agree with John, how about only posting airchecks recorded by yourself, or ones that you know for sure only you have, even if someone else recorded it for you. CD length is fine.

Suggestions

A few suggestions:

1. Most of you do this already, but it's always best to write the date and time you record an aircheck.

2. Instead of always doing your own market, how about any market that other traders who post airchecks isn't from? That would make for more variety, as I'm sure many of you are sick of St. Louis, for example. Also, it allows for smaller markets and areas many of us don't normally get airchecks from.

3. How about every two weeks? Getting 5-10 new airchecks a week seems like a lot, and if I don't have time to send each week, I don't want to be seen as a lurker-taker.

Thoughts?

Here is someone who has been doing it for a while.
