...here's Randy Travis, on 1460?

I have Randy Travis "Cold Rock Bottom of Your Heart" (or whatever the title is) coming in like gangbusters on 1460 this morning. No sign of KBRZ at all from the 4-4.

Where's the Mouse? Appears to be classic country, now playing "Itty Bitty(?)"...is this Hondo? No commercials in nearly 20 minutes and as I pen this, the signal is now beginning to break up. Just now, an announcement of a couple of FM stations that also air it (couldn't catch them, the static is really taking over now, but clearly heard "and the legendary AM 1460" at the end.

Never logged the 500w Hondo AM from Houston, heck I've never paid attention to it if it is a regular part of the San Antonio dial.

Can anyone help confirm this is indeed KCWM Hondo?

I can't stream, since I haven't reestablished the wifi service since the move. Even better yet, it's back this morning and I've heard commercials for ""North Star bank in old town Burleson" as well as Cactus Jack boots, also in Burleson. ID'ed as "The Outlaw". It's really in and out this AM, very strong to barely understandable. Right now, at 7:23am, it's "If You're Going to Play in Texas (You Gotta Have a Fiddle in the Band)".

I'm not much on country music, but this is actually pretty cool. Reminds me of what I was listening to when riding with my granddaddy in his old Dodge truck way back when...

Some streams, like KCWM's, don't need that much data to play and still sound good. It's not KCWM though.

I did find your station, KCLE, on radio-locator. http://radio-locator.com/info/KCLE-AM

Apparently it even has two translators, one in Burleson TX and one in Cleburne TX.

That explains why I was confounded by the country music. Thought KCLE was running sports. What's going on up there in Waco? First, Mexia's KLRK has apparently gone TO sports from variety hits, which was a flip not too long before that from "La Caliente". Now you're telling me that 1460 has dropped sports for classic country! Where's my scorecard?

We need a Waco-Killeen-Temple-Fort Hood correspondent! There used to be a contributor on radio-info that was from Hewitt. He was the go-to guy when it came to keeping us up to the minute on Cen-Tex radio. Sure do miss his reports...
